Billings is a slick application that aims to make tracking and invoicing as simple as possible so you can concentrate on more important things. Image is high on the agenda and the application is well presented throughout with over 30 elegantly designed invoice templates to help you give a professional image when dealing with customers.
Billings is also designed to help you track how much time you spend on a certain task. It does this via a menu-bar timer which you can pause or play as needed or you can choose individual time entries instead. And if you're sick of chasing bills, there's also an overdue client monitoring tool and "unpaid invoices" to help you see who owes you what. Note that in this latest version, you can at last deal with payments in multiple currencies.
However, using Billings can at times be more stressful than its worth. There seems to be an awful lot of fields and information required to fill-in while you are working which can mean you spend less time doing what you should be doing than you might like. Templates can also be very inflexible and although you can edit them, this can also be awkward and time consuming.
Billings is a comprehensive business application that, if everything goes smoothly for you, may be a big bonus to the running of your business. However, it can also be very frustrating at times.
